Red Bull no longer looks untouchable as rivals tighten the early-season picture
Red Bull still looks strong, but the wider mood around the team has shifted. The air of inevitability that once surrounded its weekends is softer now, replaced by something more familiar to the rest of the field: pressure.
That does not mean the team has suddenly become vulnerable everywhere. It means its advantage looks less immune to attack. Ferrari appears calmer over a race distance, Mercedes looks structurally healthier and even the noise from the midfield is less deferential than before.
What matters in these moments is not whether Red Bull remains fast. It is whether other teams now believe they can force the issue. Formula 1 championships often begin to change shape long before the points table makes that obvious.
If the early signs hold, Red Bull may still lead plenty of weekends. It just may not be doing so from the same comfortable distance.
